“When on duty at the station came across a member of the public on a station platform end saying they wanted to take their own life. Anthony remained calm and talked to the passenger and assured them they would be ok. He called for assistance when able to do so and the passenger was taken away for the care they needed.
Anthony was then at a local station travelling to work for a night shift the following week when he noticed a female acting out if the ordinary on the station platform. As the train was arriving in to the platform the female attempted to jump in front of the train but Anthony managed to tackle the female and hold her to stop her from hurting herself. The driver and guard got off of the train and thanked Anthony for his quick actions. He not only saved the females life he also prevented the driver and guard and other passengers on the platform from witnessing a distressing event. Anthony then carried on and competed his night shift.“
