Keltbray Aspire Rail & Infrastructure

Said the following about Andy Claydon:

“Andy joined Keltbray Aspire five years ago as a Project Manager, during this time he has delivered Keltbray’s most complex project at Shenfield as part of the Crossrail upgrade. The project itself was challenging due to the complexity of the interface between P-way and OLE (delivered by Keltbray) and other disciplines managed by the principle contractor. The volume of the works required the quantities of P-way and OLE were 4695m of plain line, 29 units of S&C and 1708m of drainage. From the OLE aspect; 177 foundations, 29 concrete foundations, 126 structures and 28km of new contact catenary was installed along the route, all undertaken on live infrastructure on one of the busiest and highest profile railway lines in the country. This complex project meant that at times the project had over 30 road rail machines, cranes and 100 staff per shift, which was the sole responsibility of Andy and his team. In 2018 Shenfield was successfully commissioned on time, to budget and to the satisfaction of our client.

Andy’s career after completing his Engineering degree at Loughborough University has been in the Railway industry; first joining Balfour Beatty graduate training scheme and then Keltbray in 2014.

Andy is a hardworking, experienced and versatile Project Manager, who leads his team from the front and will often be found on site helping the team to deliver his vision. He has demonstrated his ability to deliver complex, multi-disciplined projects and is an asset to the Keltbray Group.“
