He looks after his customers and his workplace with care and attention beyond the call of duty. On a daily basis he welcomes customers with a smile. On special occasions he decorates his booking office appropriately (eg Christmas, Easter). We love him!“

He keeps us villagers updated with the travel information daily on cancelled or delayed trains via our local Facebook community page. He deserves this award for all the hard work in keeping the village station in tip top condition. This is the only manned gated station for miles and miles too“

He is so efficient with updates on times and delays - I no longer look at the train app as Alex has already updated our village FB page
The ticket office is always cheery and his notice board is always up to date with facts of the day, jokes and other information
I once received a text regarding my child’s railcard which was above and beyond any member of staff
He has re-connected PE bags that are left at the station and we absolutely love this guy!!“
