Said the following about Louis Williams:

“Since Louis came to the role and the team nearly 3 years ago, I don't believe I have ever heard him say "that's not possible". However complex a request, his default position is unfailingly to start working out how to deliver it, and do so quickly and efficiently.

Louis' role is that of an administrator, but he uses his abilities to deliver far above what is expected of him, whether this is by harnessing his brilliant technological knowhow, or by using his network of contacts throughout the business.

He brings innovation and creativity to all his tasks, from minute taking and agendas to reporting the KPIs for the team in useful and easy to understand formats.

Although Louis reports to me, he hot desks frequently and is always on the hunt for opportunities to use tech to communicate, manage information and help others there. Louis has used some O365 apps (OneDrive, OneNote) to share content within our team, helping us track actions and share information.

He recently used tech he discovered to create short ‘how-to’ videos to help others use OneNote and is working on others, seeing a need and creating content without being asked to.

Louis will ALWAYS help where he can, whether it is to support actions within a project, capture and display data, help with role play in courses – nothing is too much trouble. Louis will put himself out of his comfort zone to help others, without question.

Louis focuses on solutions and share his ideas/thinking freely. His positivity helps others in my team to be more solutions focused and less bogged down with negativity.

Committed to our Customers – Louis is an ex Stations team member and frequently volunteers to work on the front line. He also helps in disruption and has been given a gold award for his customer interventions in the past.

Dedicated to Safety – Louis supports me to ensure that the team keep safety top of mind and has publicised safety messages from the Director via eye catching posters on his own initiative.

Setting the Highest Standards: Through his use of technology and his natural desire to improve things, Louis constantly suggests improvements to processes and working methods.

Accountable for Performance – Louis works tirelessly to ensure that our key performance indicator data is collected and collated accurately and in a timely way, to ensure that the team can allocate resources appropriately and give the best quality of service to our customers.
