“Cameron has been working under mentorship on the Signalling Power Upgrades for the East Midlands area and also the West Hampstead Power Supply Upgrade designs. The purpose of the project is to provide a better service to the public by improving the reliability of the existing system in place. Cameron has shown excellent technical skills, passion and innovation in his designs.
Cameron is an Engineer with an inquisitive mind when it comes to design work and surveys. He has demonstrated his ability to find alternative solutions to problems, technical and non-technical. Cameron has a drive to do well in his career and also learn as much as he can from his peers, as well as researching on the latest technologies and products. Cameron has shown a keen interest in BIM and also drone technology methods for surveying and surveillance.
Cameron has successfully taken a lead role in managing surveys on site to ensure design processes smoothly.
Cameron has shown a keen interest in our in house calculation tools to assist with design solutions and obtaining optimum results. In addition to Cameron's passion as a developing E&P Engineer, he is also doing an excellent to job to manage the Amey Consulting Rail (Birmingham) close calls register. The management of this close call register is not only for the office or site activities, but also for design too. This is important for reporting and contributes to the reduction of risks or hazards occurring (including the workplace). Cameron is also one of the company Fire Wardens. Cameron has already achieved an award for Outstanding Performance in Rail Engineering Design and has been selected as one of Amey Consulting's 100 Changemakers based on his energy and enthusiasm, attributes as a team player and ability to speak up and get involved.
