Seaton Rail is located in the seaside resort of Bridlington in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We provide a complete track safety management service including Possession Planning, Work Package Planning, and Safe System of Work Planning and have full UK nationwide coverage of contingent Labour, On Track Protection & Warning Services and Track Safety training and assessments.
The company was formed in January 1995 to provide Possession Planning and Work Package Planning to specialised organisations requiring track access to Network Rail's controlled Infrastructure. A Safe System of Work planning service was introduced in 2002 following the mandatory requirements of the Network Rail standard 'Safety of People working On or Near the Line' (RIMINI).
In 2008 we expanded our services to include the supply of Contingent Labour and On Track Protection & Warning Services more recently in 2012 we were accredited by the National Skills Academy for Railway Engineering (NSARE) as a Network Rail approved Track Safety Training and Assessment Provider delivering Track Safety Training and Workplace Assessments to both internal and external track safety personal.
In 2012 we expanded our services even further, and became accredited by NSAR (National Skills Academy for Rail) to provide Safety Critical Workplace assessments, further expansion in 2014 saw the opening our first training centre in Bridlington, Where we deliver Track Safety training from PTS up to Engineering Supervisor, other courses we offer include Health & Safety, First Aid, Fire Safety, Customer Service, Food Safety, Management Skills and Assessor Training. To supplement our training we also provide Network Rail Drugs and Alcohol screenings.
Our one stop shop approach to track safety management is what the rail industry has been missing for a long time, the rail industry requires qualified and experienced staff to assess and resource the needs of individual clients on a project to project basis.
