Nominations for Station Staff of the Year

Said the following about Zara Adams:

“We would like to nominate Zara Adams (MTR) for the RailStaff Station Staff of the Year award for her outstanding work at Chadwell Heath station in East London. While working there Zara has to deal with a large number of mobility-impaired customers and visually-impaired customers passengers, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service on the gatelines. Her service at Chadwell Heath was noticed from staff at other stations as she always followed procedure to make sure these customers were met at the other destinations correctly, before returning back to Chadwell Heath to greet them. Zara has showed on many occasions that she has a passion to provide a safe and secure railway for all by being passionate and helpful to customers each and every day. Zara has worked at other stations along the route and maintained a great standard by going out of her way for customers to make sure they have reached their destination in the fastest possible way whilst making their travel a comfortable experience.

Fellow staff and managers support this nomination because this past year Zara has been an exceptional member of staff for customers and also fellow colleagues. This is why we value of our staff as they are the most important asset to us and hope to develop their skills in the future. Zara demonstrates MTR’s values by providing Excellent Service, Mutual Respect, Value Creation and Enterprising Spirit.“
