Said the following about Stafford Station Team - **HAS LEFT**:

“The Stafford station team are an amazing group of people and through team work, dedication, passion and care have had so many achievements recently.

Six consecutive months without any station delays....being pro-active in how they manage their platforms, identifying and assisting customers that need help, looking for ways to be more efficient and work together, having great team leaders that support and give guidance to their CSA's all contribute to amazing train running performance. As a busy hub with a large number of trains and around 2.7 million customers passing through the station or connecting to other services, this is no mean feat. Their safety record is excellent too, with minimal accidents and zero caused by anything within their control.

Four interventions in the last twelve months means that four lives have been saved. Recognition from the BTP around the difference that these guys have made and continue to make - there isn't much bigger in terms of making a difference to the people that we serve and of course the wider impact of the friends and families and the customers and staff that would have been affected.

A new ticket issuing system has been introduced in the last few months which is implemented and the team are embracing. They have supported one another through the change and are using it to give the best possible experience to our customers, out and about on the station to be more mobile and agile to what is needed in this age of technology! Customer advocacy has never been higher for Stafford with customers more likely to recommend travelling with us than ever before.

We're all incredibly proud of everyone that works at Stafford station, they are fantastic representatives of VT and of the railway and they thoroughly deserve the title Rail Team of the Year.“
