“I have had the pleasure of working with Pat for 16 years. Over this period I have seen him employed in many capacities. Of late we have worked directly together on station projects, some of these he had to join in on latter stages to ensure they finished on target.
He is a meticulous manager that doesn't leave a stone unturned, a technical query left out or a mess left behind. His dogged like style, ensures he finishes every project he is tasked to do.
He joined late on the Blackpool refurbishment and resignalling project, projects for the building of Kirkstall Forge, Low Moor and the most recent Warrington West program. He oversaw the Newton-le-Willows project where we have relocated a new ticket office facility, the staff accommodation refits and was instrumental in the installation of 100 CIS screens across the Northern network.
His diligence, professionalism, attention to detail and attitude towards any of the projects he is tasked with is second to none, hence is continual work stream and often multi-project workload at any one time.
The impressions he leaves with colleagues, contractors and NWR alike is phenomenal, they find him hard Project Manager to beat and no one ever seems to forget him“
