Said the following about Anthony Kerry:

“Tony is the Lead Discipline Engineer (Signalling), for the IP Northern Programmes team. He has been instrumental in the successful commissioning of two major programs of work (North West Electrification, NWEP Phase 3 and Phase 4). Without Tony’s input, the signalling elements of the projects may have missed key commissioning dates causing significant impact on the wider program and rail industry.

Tony joined the NWEP programme at an uncertain time in its development. He helped to focus the team on what was needed in order to move from development stage into delivery. He has used outstanding collaboration and leadership skills to resolve technical issues and to get the NR and Suppliers teams working effectively together, playing a pivotal role in recovering the relationship from a problematic start. Tony has been willing to work on detailed signalling project engineering issues when resource constraints required it, whilst also providing over-arching strategic guidance. Tony has played a key role in balancing the challenge of achieving a fast track programme against the imperative to deliver safely, whilst maintaining the respect of all parties.

Tony is now supporting the delivery of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) programme, fulfilling both the role of Route Asset Management ‘Delegate’ and his core Lead Discipline Engineer (Signalling) role for the wider IP Northern Programmes portfolio. Tony is working with the programme teams and numerous stakeholders to determine the base requirements and key dependencies for this large and complicated programme of work.“
