Nominations for Station Staff of the Year

Angela White

Said the following about Andrew Hardy:

“Andrew has worked as a Booking Office Clerk for the railways for a long time. What he doesn't know about tickets and routing isn't worth knowing. Andrew works at Cambridge station, which has an annual footfall of approximately 11 million passengers.

Each month Andrew produces a condensed A4 sheet of information regarding engineering works for the Greater Anglia area and this is distributed to all staff at our area stations (March, Ely, Cambridge North and Cambridge stations). Andrew also researches and notes anything else of importance, for example major engineering projects at other stations around the country. This information helps all station staff to answer queries from customers and to be 'on the ball' regarding journeys.“
